AIDS Connecticut Begins Naloxone Distribution

On February 23, 2015, ACT became the first Syringe Services Program (SSP) in Connecticut to begin distributing Naloxone to SSP clients. Naloxone, a life-saving medication, can be administered to reverse an opioid overdose.
